Local punk rock veterans Elvis Jackson are returning to Šiška with We Play For You, their first studio album in over a decade, set for release in March 2025. This album also introduces the band's newest member, guitarist Marty Favento.
For more than a quarter of a century, the unstoppable Elvis Jackson have dominated the Slovenian music scene with their infectious punk sound, blending high-energy punk with hardcore edges and reggae-infused ballads. Whether performing on the stages of major regional festivals like Sziget and Exit, creating an intimate unplugged vibe, or igniting wild student parties, Elvis Jackson delivers an unforgettable show with a uniquely positive energy. Throughout their long career, they’ve shared the stage with a varied mix of artists—from The Offspring, Faith No More, and Sepultura to Helena Blagna—while maintaining an exceptional level of energy and technical mastery that sets them apart.
Exactly ten years after the release of their previous album, Radio Unfriendly, Elvis Jackson returns to Šiška with a familiar purpose. In March 2025, they will launch their eagerly awaited sixth album, We Play For You, in our Cathedral—the first record featuring their newest member, Marty. The metal-tinged guitarist has taken over from beloved longtime member Berto, bringing a fresh take on the classic Elvis Jackson sound. In Šiška, fans can look forward to brand-new tracks, a generous dose of timeless hits, and, of course, an unforgettable fiesta.
