Elvis Jackson band, known for its energetic mix of punk, rock, ska, metal and reggae music, is going on a short weekend tour around Slovenia in March 2015. They will return to Kino Šiška in Ljubljana on March 25th, the next day, on March 26th, we will be able to see the band at Štuk in Maribor. On March 27th the band will have its third consecutive concert in Mostovna in Nova Gorica. Guest band, SUBSCRIBE from Hungary, will accompany Elvis Jackson on all three concerts.

This time Elvis Jackson has a very tangible reason - a presentation of a new, fifth album titled “Radio Unfriendly”. On a long awaited album there is a dominant content of punk rock, lively and fast rhythms, metal riffs and hard core aggression, all together united to a dynamic totality by contagious melody and energy that are common to all previous albums of the rock formation from Primorska and Štajerska.  

“At live performances we will offer you something you have never heard or seen - new songs and coordinated sound and lightening scenography, specially prepared for this opportunity. At the same time you can expect a series of older hit songs, you were growing up with - while meanwhile we grew old. However, we all still want to hang out together and have positive energy,” said boys from Elvis Jackson in a very good mood and added: “We can’t wait to play on three consecutive concerts in the company of our biggest fans and new fans as well and to turn a new page in the history of the band, which album Radio Unfriendly most definitely is.”

In the beginning of April 2014 boys presented their EP album with 7 songs on it and announced they would postpone the release of a new album until spring 2015. In the past year, humorous guys from Primorska and Štajerska were working on the last album very intensively in the studio at Metelkova with producer Rok Podbevšek. Žare Pak, the legend of Slovenian rock production, and Arne Neurand (Guano Apes, Subway to Sally …), German studio technician, collaborated in mixing the album. This time Janez Križaj did the mastering. Boys recorded and elaborated new songs; there will be 12 of them on the album. Single and video “Any place to go” is the first announcement of the album. The follow-up of the promotion will definitely be fast and loud!

Subscribe was formed in 1999, since then from being unnoticed, some people start to pick up on them. The members of the band sweat heavily during almost all live performances. And beyond. The band’s audience likes to decorate themselves with flashy stage elements to attract attention, according to statistics 95% of the crowd are inclined to twin pregnancy. Subscribe’s music is interesting, but sometimes inconstant. Their appearance is practical and/or well dressed, but the members are mainly instrument-specific. Evidence of their hard work is that they showed up for almost all of their shows since September 2011. Their last album’s title is “Life to the living, death to the dead!”. The Hungarian lyrics on this album are in English this time for everyone’s convenience.
