Trg republike

Republic Square (previously known as Revolution Square) is the biggest Square in the city of Ljubljana that lies to the west of the Old town centre and east from the Tivoli Park. For a very long time it served as a public parking lot, but has resumed its role as a main state and town square after extensive renovations that finished in 2014. Across the Plečnik square through the underpass, it is linked to the Zvezda Park and Congress square as well as the medieval old town centre.
