Festivalna dvorana Ljubljana

The Ljubljana Festival Hall a part of the Pionirski dom and  has been a synonym for the social life in Ljubljana for over a decade now. This is no surprise since Plečnik hall (Plečnikova dvorana) is regarded as one of the most beautiful dance halls in Slovenia. The building also known as the Baraga seminary (Baragovo semenišče); was built between the years 1936 and 1941, it was originally meant as a dormitory for the seminarians. There are not many people in Slovenia that never visited the Festival hall. The hall hosts many foreign and domestic dance events, concerts, congresses, fashion shows, proms, weddings and many other events. The hall is also meant as an exhibition point for the creative accomplishments of youth in Ljubljana and the wider area. In collaboration with similar societies and institutions it forms programs meant for children, youth and adults in the field of dance, music and theater.
