The Slovenian national theater Drama Ljubljana is the oldest and the focal Slovenian theater. The members of its ensemble are amongst the best and most frequently rewarded Slovenian actors. The Theater has a rich artistic tradition. Its ambitious and diverse repertoire entails everything from the classic to contemporary performances, as well as home and foreign dramaturgical works. It understands its shows as highly esthetic, emotional and intellectual adventures. To visit the theater is fun and joy as well as an opportunity to face both the world and yourself, for which there is less and less time in our fast paced world.

Many awards from local and foreign festivals and guest events all over Slovenia as well as abroad, witness to the exciting performances on the two theaters stages. The theater also hosts many interesting guest performances from the best theaters in Slovenia and abroad.
