Prešernovo gledališče Kranj

After the end of the war in 1945 the theater enthusiast in Kranj joined together n a unified theater. The theater after a few months of activity named itself the Prešeren Theater.

A very important date for the theater is the 8th of February 1950 when the theater went professional and enjoyed its first official season.

Today the Prešeren Theater is recognized for its esthetically-ideological repertoire, famous actor names, its increasing presence in the media and is one of the main names in Slove
