Celjski dom
Celjski dom is a representative three story building with a circular corner tower built between 1905-1907 according to designs of the Vienna architect Peter Pavel Brenga in the new historical style of old German gothic. The original German building was built by the German society, their main goal was to make the house a home for different German social societies (Casino, tournaments, singers, bicyclists etc.), and it was also meant to house the societies printing shop Celeia and the offices of the German newspaper Deutsche Wacht. Today it houses the Institute for cultural events and tourism Celeia and the Tourist information centre Celje.
Celjski dom has four areas appropriate for hosting events such as seminars, conferences, symposiums, lectures and social events.
The Union hall (310m2) with 560 seats and a balcony with 60 seats. It is meant to host the most demanding, musical, scenic and social events.
The Small hall (230m2) with 160 seats and a winter garden is meant mainly for dances, chamber music events, lectures and consultations.
The Coffe shop (108 m2) with 80 seats is appropriate for hosting lectures, consultations, presentations, talks and social gatherings.
The Small Union hall (75m2) has 70 fixed seats.
