Stadion Z'dežele - Celje
The stadium in the sports park Golovec bears the sponsor name Arena Petrol since 2005 and is one of the most modern football and sport objects in Slovenia. The begging of the construction in the abandoned Opekarniška pit stretches back into the year 1999. The stadium began operating on 9th of September 1999. The final capacity of the stadium after more stands were added is 13 059 seats. The Slovenian national team plays its friendly and qualification matches here since 2004.
The grass surface is top of the line, similar to the one being used on the football field of the Olympic stadium in Munchen where Bayern and Munchen 1860 play. The stadium also boasts new projectors with the power of 1400 lux that enable multistage lighting depending on the occasion (matches, training, concerts)
