UTOPIA NOW, musical performance
Let's imagine the hypothetical image of a society that is moderately optimistic. Imagine that we no longer live in Varoufakis' techno-feudalism, but rather in techno-socialism. Humanity is finally freed from the chains of capitalism, artificial intelligence takes over the hardest tasks, allowing people to simply enjoy life. Happiness, pleasure, and hedonism are the imperatives of a new world based on social justice. Everyone has everything they need for their own well-being and happiness. But what is happiness?
Utopia Now is a performance on a European tour – a musical performance, because music is perhaps the closest thing to pure happiness, today or in any utopian world or any version of the future. The performance is an original project by Marko Grubić and Milena Bogavac, starring Tamara Radovanović, Danilo Milovanović, and Aleksa Jovčić, which also features music by the Belgrade band Vrooom. The band has dominated Serbian music charts in recent years, performed across Europe, and composed music for more than sixty productions.
