The Californian duo LMFAO is the talk of the town - their name, by the way, is the internet shortcut for “laughing my fucking ass off”. With “Party Rock Anthem,” the first single of their second album, “Sorry For Party Rocking,” they created this year's party hit. The song conquered the charts in the US, England, Germany and more than ten other countries. It turned into a self-fulfilling prophecy: “Party Rock Anthem” literally became the party rock anthem of the year. The successors, “Champagne Showers” and “Sexy And I Know It”, caused quite a stir in the international charts, and LMFAO have become regulars in the international hit lists. All around the world, the album made the top 20, and LMFAO can already look back on various gold and platin awards.
