LJUBLJANA, July 24 , 2020 – With sincere regret, Star produkcija has postponed the concert of Andrea Bocelli, which was scheduled for November 28, 2020 in Arena Stožice. Following instructions from the competent authorities and the limited number of visitors indoors by the end of the 2020, originally scheduled 2020 concert dates that were postponed due to COVID-19 have been rescheduled for 2021. The new date for Andrea Bocelli's concert is November 20, 2021.

The concert will consist on a first part of Bocelli´s classical music and most operatic arias, accompanied by a full orchestra and choir. The beloved Italian tenor will also be accompanied on stage with a soprano, a guest singer and a guest musician. The second part of the concert will consist of Bocelli’s most popular hits, as well as some of his new songs from the latest released album „SI“. Bocelli said that his last album is an intimate collection of songs that celebrate love, faith and family. The album was recorded in his home in Italy, and produced by legendary Bob Ezrin, who worked with Pink Floyd, Lou Reed... Bocelli first performed in Slovenia in 2016, and the audience in the sold out hall of Stožice enjoyed the top performances of this great artist.

The famous Italian tenor has so far recorded 15 albums, which he sold in more than 90 million copies, and 9 operas. He started his career in 1992, and back then Zucchero helped him a lot, as he was looking for someone who would record a demo for one duet with Luciano Pavarotti. They were enchanted by Bocelli and his performance, afterwards he appeared at the Sanremo Festival. Soon, he followed the first major role in Verdi's opera Macbeth, after which the successes kept coming. However, the biggest turning point was the song "Con te partirò", whose version of the duet with soprano Sarah Brightman sat in the top of the charts in 1996 and eventually became one of the most popular songs of all time. Through numerous performances and released albums, Bocelli gained the affection of the widest audience, musicians and music critics. He is one of the few who performed in front of three Popes, four American Presidents, the British royal family, and he also had concerts in New York's Central Park, London's Royal Albert Hall, in front of the Egyptian Pyramids and under the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

On April 12, 2020, Italian tenor and global music icon Andrea Bocelli gave a solo performance at the historic Duomo, the cathedral of Milan, Italy, by invitation of the City and of the cathedral, and thanks to the hospitality of the Archpriest and the Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo. The concert was exclusively streamed live globally on the tenor’s YouTube channel and by now has more than 40 million views (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=huTUOek4LgU ).

Tenor, whose impressive voice with wide singing range is considered by many as the voice of the new millennium, is preparing a magnificent performance again, and tickets purchased for 2020 concert will be honored for the rescheduled 2021 date.
