Aleksandar "Saša" Matić (born April 26, 1978 in Drvar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, is a Bosnian Serb folk singer, very popular in former Yugoslavia. On March 8, 1994, he was at a Ratko Jovanović concert in Tržnica on Banovo Brdo where he was selected to sing the rest of the Zajdi, zajdi song, this boosted him to fame.On March 15, 2001, Saša's first album, Maskara, was released. Later, in Budva, Montenegro, during the Budva Festival 2003, Saša won the singing contest with the song, Moj Grad. In the same year, he won the song contest in the Ohrid Trumpeteers Festival in Ohrid, Republic of Macedonia, with the same song, Moj Grad.
